Collaboration in action

The project came to life through close collaboration, with Peter Kjær from Rindom (Fibo’s Danish distributor) playing a central role in the practical execution. At a high-traffic destination like Fårup Sommerland, where thousands of guests visit daily, materials need to deliver both durability and a consistently positive user experience. That’s why Fibo wall panels were the natural choice — offering a 100% waterproof surface that’s built to withstand heavy use.

There were several reasons why we chose Fibo for this project, but one of the most important was the need for a smooth, efficient process without unexpected delays. Fibo delivered on that. The panels are quick to install, and the work can be done entirely by carpenters.

Design that reflects identity

At Café Vest near the entrance, guests can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee surrounded by stylish 5206 Olive Green panels — each engraved with a custom graphic pattern. The design was created to mirror Fårup Sommerland’s visual identity, helping to create a seamless and memorable brand experience across the park.

This project really demonstrates how far we can go when a customer wants something one-of-a-kind, says Sven Konrad, Export Sales Manager WSCE. “The engravings are milled directly into the surface of the panels, giving them a durable, high-quality finish with a truly exclusive feel.”

Holistic design for high-traffic spaces

In the large restroom complex near the park’s main entrance — which includes men’s restrooms, a nursing room, and staff facilities — a thoughtful combination of 2164 Pure Oak with a slatted design and specially engraved 9003 Go Green (from Fibo’s limited edition colour collection) was used.

The result is a space that feels fresh, functional, and cohesive. All white panels throughout the project feature custom engravings inspired by Fårup Sommerland’s visual identity, providing a lasting solution that is easy to clean and designed to look great year after year.

“Engravings milled directly into the HPL surface are far more durable than foil or paint,” explains Konrad. “Our ability to offer this level of customisation at scale gives us a clear competitive advantage.”
